We are the Shadlow family we are competitive wood choppers, Michael being the third generation to do so in his family and Michael’s sons being the fourth generation, we travel all over this great country competing. We started in the firewood industry in the early the 2000’s as a small family business, since then we have bought our competitor in 2021 and we are now known as Mr Firewood, Mr Firewood was started as a family business in 1976 and is still run as a family business to this day. 

• We sell only premium local hardwoods such as iron bark, blue gum, stringy bark, yellow and grey box, etc.
• Open 7days a week from march thru September, and always available for deliveries during the warmer months. 
• We have wood sizes to suit all fire situations, indoors and out. From kindling and wood for your BBQ, pizza oven and pot belly stoves, thru to loaf of bread sized for the standard combustion heaters or open fires.
